ROCK MY HOLOGRAM!!

Ninja Tune’s Big Dada Records has been creeping out of the shadow of it’s Ninja elder with each new release. However, the forthcoming Jerusalaam Come LP by the mighty Aleem Juice, may be the spark needed to outshine the Ninja shadow.

But before the album’s Spring 2010 release, Big Dada gives us the “Higher Higher / Rock My Hologram Remix EP”, a nine-track mega-bundle featuring emerging left field producers, as well as the godfathers of musical madness. One such remix is by Offshore, who, hot on the heels of his mindblowing remix of Thavius Beck‘s “Go!”, has reconstructed Juice Aleem’s “Higher Higher” into a truly higher form of oddness, catchiness and sheer joyful dementedness. And as if that wasn’t enough, the ever-brilliant bass monster, Si Begg, has turned Aleem’s “Hologram” into pure summat-step wonder.
